Please note that students are required to attend two years of classes (Confirmation Year I and Confirmation Year II) before receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation (normally in 7th and 8th grade). If you have any questions about this policy, please feel free to contact the Religious Ed Office.

Choosing a sponsor:
- A sponsor must be a baptized, confirmed and practicing Catholic in good standing
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Can not be your parent, step-parent, adoptive or foster parent.
Choosing a patron saint
- Look at the liturgical calendar and find out if your birthday is a saint’s feast day. You can find the calendar here.
- Look for patron saints of something that you are interested in. (For example, St. Isidore of Seville is the patron saint of the internet!) See the Patron Saints Index.
- Browse and look for someone who did something that you think you would like to live up to. Here is the general site to explore.
