Choosing a Patron Saint
- Look at the liturgical calendar and find out if your birthday is a saint’s feast day. You can find the calendar here.
- Look for patron saints of something that you are interested in. (For example, St. Isidore of Seville is the patron saint of the internet!) See the Patron Saints Index.
- Browse and look for someone who did something that you think you would like to live up to. Here is the general site to explore.
- Candidates will complete a project about their patron saint through their preparation classes.
Confirmation Retreats
- Candidates must participate in a Confirmation Retreat in each year of preparation. Retreat options vary from year-to-year. If a candidate cannot attend the retreats scheduled by our program, they must find a retreat to attend at another parish.
