What is Totus Tuus?
Totus Tuus is a Catholic summer youth program dedicated to sharing the Gospel and promoting the Catholic Faith through catechesis, evangelization, Christian witness and Eucharistic worship. The goal of Totus Tuus is to help young people grow in the understanding of, and strengthen their faith in Jesus Christ. It is only by establishing a real and personal relationship with Him that we can be led to love of the Father in the Spirit and so be made sharers in the life of the Holy Trinity. "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me" (John 14:6) Totus Tuus seeks to foster openness to vocations in the young people we serve as well as among the teachers. This is accomplished by placing special emphasis on the importance and necessity of prayer, Eucharistic devotion and Marian devotion, in addition to catechetical instruction and formation in the Catholic Faith. At Totus Tuus, students experience daily prayer, catechism, participation in daily Mass, and a LOT of FUN! |
Summer Youth Programs Registrations for our Summer 2025 youth programs will open in March. What is Vacation Bible School (VBS)?
VBS is a week-long ministry outreach churches provide to educate children in their community about God that incorporates themed activities. At St. Emily's, we use themed adventures from the Bible, and this year's is Hometown Nazareth: Where Jesus Was a Kid. During VBS, students discover how to live Jesus’ love and hope in everyday life! Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and devour yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible Adventures, and collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of Scripture. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through what we call God Sightings. Why Register? Students will… *Learn about our Catholic faith through fun, age-appropriate activities. *Engage with others and improve their social skills while treating others the way Jesus taught us. *Meet new friends in our community. |
